Even though the youth is not allowed to vote this eclection is such a big impact. Listening to the NPR I learned that even the youth can comunicate to Barack Obama and John McCain as friends on facebook and can share their ideas. I feel like this is an amazing connection that these candidates are trying to make. It really makes everyone feel important. This obviously was one of my favorite debates because I am older and so much more aware. Plus the fact that it is a historical moment for our country and parts of the world. Technology is just an amazing thing. If a debate occured I thought it would be amazing that right away it would be talked about on the web. It's good for younger people to learn about candidates becuase it was everywhere on the computer and almost every teen has made going on the computer a daily task. SNL was a sky rocket idea. It was great for SNL and people that were not educated about the election through other media. Watching SNL taught you a lot of what you needed to know even though everything is exaggerated. It was great for SNL because speaking for me I would watch SNL regularly just to see how they were going to present the candidates. The first SNL skit that pulled me in was the one done by Amy Poler and Tina Fey when they acted like Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin. It was so funny to me and it really was an exaggerated truth about the two.

blog update

When I went back to visit my blog at directory blog, I went to the 20 newest updates. In this section it keeps you udated and learn about notions that have been happening that no one really knows about. I read about the topic Brown Man Thinking Hard. It was posted today.
The blog was titled Cut that zero, get with this hero. (I tried to copy the picture but it will not come up) It is a pictureof Barack with a hand symbol of a zero. Underneath it asks what does this mean. Some answers are more serious than others but most of them are for fun. ie- how many percentage points McCain has won, the amount Joe the plummer's taxes will go up on the income he actually makes, and more.
One blogger responded saying how he did not understand why it was called that, but liked the ideas that were put out.
I liked this blog because this symbol has become popular but not everyone knows it. I only heard about it before but did not know what it actual meant.

At the end of the blog post it talked about the tax situation. I looked up a youtube video to see what they could show about the issue. What I found was a short clip giving out important facts backing up Obama. It's only 49 seconds long, short and sweet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8BDyz4J-QA

extra credit debate

The debate between Biden and Palin was very intense. One issue between the debators was taxes. Obama is only going to tax the upper 5 percent. Biden points out that McCain is going to tax health benifits which have never been taxed before, people are going to be given back 5,00 dollarrs which goes right to the insurance company. Biden said that the secular leader of Iran doesn't and will not have control over nuclear bombs in Iran, only the therocracy has control over the bombs. Instead of Pailn saying that the secular leader has complete contorl in Iran. Therefore, Palin/ McCain are missinformed with the military control in Iran. Both parties agree on the importance of Israel and supporting that nation. The democratic party won because Biden was polite, wasn't a pitbul, and had complete control over the debate, knowing what to say in a professional manor.

Political Blogg

My political blog is a list of a couple blogs. You can click on any blog from anything of libitarian to conservative. It also has humor blogs. It was updated the day I found the site, Oct, 1. You can search for topics and look at the 20 newest additions. When I was on the blog I looked at the group blog to see what fellow political site checkers added. The people that responded to Poliwatch were democratic. They were saying that Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Cruic was awful. The post was posted today, it shows how recent the blog is.

fashion blog

I looked at the blog I am fashion. On this blog it talks about all upcoming events with fashion and all that has happened with fashion. Whether it be a fashion show, project runway, or the runway. There are pictures and captions under the pictures. In the blog it talks about all the main fashion weeks and thier oppinon about what that fashion week was like. For me this is as good as a blogs can get because this is mainly all I think about.

The other blog I picked was about Chanel during fashion week of this year. It shows pictures of the whole collection including Karal Lagerfield. Under it shows the thoughts of people on the fashion show and of the collection. For me I liked collection but I feel like this year there is more of a difference of Karal Lagerfield and Coco Chanel.

dumest generation

Being called the dumbest generation was a quick assumption. The author of this book implied that our generation does not like to read, which in many cases are false. He also mentioned that we were targets for Jay walking on the Jay Leno show, majority of those people are older than 30; which was the passing point of not being part of the dumbest generation. The author also implied that we spend to much time on the computer. I personally know someone who plays games on the computer near to 5 hours a day and made an incredible amount of money for a game on the computer. The grown ups who are not part of the stereotype are also dumb. Many children can do so much more on computers than adults. The funny thing is all that is on the computer is common sense and all you have to do is read. So if we are the dumbest generation because we like to read, can make hundreds by a computer game, and having common sense on the computer than I am proud to be part of that dumbest generation.
